22nd FebruaryBray Pit
We are definitely working at Bray Pit today. The current plan is to plant wildflowers and sow wildflower seeds in the meadow.

However, on the 18th the route to the site down the footpath from the A308 was seriously flooded so we must all park in the car park by Bray Lake Watersports here and walk the half mile to Bray Pit using the path beside the sailing lake. To reach Bray Lake Watersports turn off the A308 Windsor Road down Monkey Island Lane and then take the left hand fork.

8th MarchLittle Thriftwood, Maidenhead
The flooding in Ockwells Park and Thriftwood has subsided! We will be doing more coppice work and improving the dead hedge beside the path in the bluebell walk in Little Thriftwood. There’s a mass of bluebell leaves growing in Little Thriftwood but treading on them can kill the plants.
