2nd February Ockwells Park and Thrift Wood, Maidenhead
Today WMCV WILL be planting alder and willow in an area between Little Thrift Wood and Great Thrift Wood (privately owned) to create a wildlife corridor between the two woods. Later in the year when it’s less wet we will probably have a joint task with Wild Maidenhead planting other tree species in the same area.

Be warned – it’s going to be very wet and muddy.

Ockwells Park is on Ockwells Road, Cox Green, Maidenhead.

I suggest that we meet by the gate where Thrift Lane (a bridleway) meets Ockwells Road here. Please do not block the gate.
